Centrelink customers who are to undertake voluntary work, under certain conditions may apply to undertake limited periods of volunteer work under certain circumstances.

The volunteer work must be in a community based Centrelink approved organisation.

• Centrelink customers should contact VRB to make an appointment to start volunteering.

Organisations should be not-for-profit and be able to provide details of a current insurance policy (e.g. volunteer insurance, personal accident, public liability).

• Organisations that would like to be Centrelink approved should contact the VRB.
