Centrelink customers
Centrelink job seekers who are looking to undertake voluntary work, under certain conditions can apply to undertake limited periods of volunteer work, under certain circumstances.
The volunteer work must be in a community based Centrelink approved organisation.
Organisations should be not-for-profit and be able to provide details of a current insurance policy (e.g. volunteer insurance, personal accident, public liability).
How to start
Centrelink customers should contact the VRB to make an appointment to start volunteering.
Organisations that would like to be Centrelink approved should contact the VRB.
